Responsible for all areas of development relating to the core product of this start-up company. This initially included key improvements to an existing platform and a complete update & redesign of the frontend, and ultimately has culminated in a complete rewrite of the platform utilizing several emerging technologies (such as CakePHP 2.x, Bootstrap) to facilitate an interactive drag & drop interface.

In addition to development, I have been responsible for managing databases related to the website, as well as the planning and implementation of various improvements to streamline the product development process.

Responsible for ongoing development and maintenance of multiple software platforms used by SkyVantage customers as well as end users. Examples of these systems are a reservation management system used by small to mid-size airlines for day-to-day management of operations, multiple eCommerce platforms which are used by end users to purchase and manage reservations, and backoffice systems and customer management tools to simplify and automate billing and management tasks.

Throughout my employment with SkyVantage, I have had multiple opportunities to plan, develop and implement a wide range of projects, from small modifications and enhancements to large migrations. Additionally, as lead developer I have taken point on several of these projects and been responsible for overseeing development efforts of other members of the development staff.

Responsible for developing and maintaining several backend systems used by employees and management, ranging from customer information tracking systems to employee scheduling and management tools.

Additional responsibilities included administration and development of the call center phone systems and equipment, and assisting in the maintenance of mission critical servers, workstations and network equipment.

Accomplishments achieved during tenure include a complete rewrite of several legacy systems, development of several detailed reporting and monitoring systems, and an interactive voice response (IVR) system to automatically assist customers and dynamically route calls.
